Solved DVD Architect error during burn
I have been struggling for days to overcome this problem.... big thanks to anyone who can help. I have a project I edited & rendered in Sony Vegas Pro to MPEG video and AC3 audio. They are in the same folder and labeled identically. They load into DVD Architect perfectly and play audio/video within the program. I go to burn a disc and get the same message every time at about 75% of the preparing process: "An error occurred reading data from a file on the system. Make sure that you have access to all the data files needed to write this disc."
Please help!!!

Hello Ashiko
It sounds like you have a Windows file permissions problem ?
How many Hard Drives/SSDs are in your computer ?
Do you have just one C-Drive or extra Hard Drives as well ?
Which drive/s is your videos/audio files being saved to ?
From your screen shot, it looks like your files are located on Storage (E).
I have 5 Drives in my computer and have learnt a lot about Security settings in Windows.
Right-click your Storage E drive, select Properties/Security.
Here are the settings I use on ALL my drives.
It is very important that SYSTEM and Administrators have FULL read/write permissions.
On your computer, ZEN will be replaced with the name of your own computer.
You can press EDIT and add new Groups/Users and set permissions.
I have one idea you can try immediately - try running DVD Architect As the Administrator.
Right-click the Desktop icon for DVDA and select Run As Administrator.
Open your project and see if it will work now.
Regards
Derek

Thanks so much. Not exactly sure what I did because I tried a bunch of different possible remedies but I got it to burn. I will definitely check the settings you recommend for next time. THANK YOU, your videos and forum have been incredibly helpful.
