Hello Hans

There has been a communication problem between the two of us - I say that sincerely, I'm not angry, but now I truly understand why there has been so much confusion about something simple.

What you are referring to as the Main Menu is not the Main Menu, but the Scene Selection menu.
Your DVD project (the way I explained to create it) is working the way 99.99% of other people would expect it to work and working 100% the way a store bought DVD is set up.

Main Menu - Page 1 is always the main menu if you follow convention.
On a normal DVD, a link is placed on the Main Menu to the Scene Selection Menu, because most people would watch an entire movie first and only go to the Scene Selection menu, if they were searching for something within the main video.

Of course it is OK to set up a DVD the way you want it to work - that is your prerogative.
In which case you need to place the purple star against the sub-menu for Scene Selection.

However we have now come full circle and are back to were we started, which means nothing that I have told you means anything now.
I have never had anyone ask to set up a DVD this way, so I don't know if I can help and add anymore now.

Well, everything is fixed and working 100%. There were (in my opinion) 2 items that needed attention. The first has been to reset DVDA to delete the cache (I think that has been the fundamental problem all along) the second has been that the Disc Start Function was in the wrong place.
As soon as this was placed on the scene Selection (Page 1) Everything worked!
I am very happy its all working now

Cheers,
Hans Gelton
