Hi Zen, I presume that's your name, I have just arrived back from the states and while there purchased Sony Vegas Pro 5.0 (13) and Sony DVD Architect Pro 5 for a really good price but now I have one small problem. After completing a video and making it ready to export to Architect, I haven't a clue as to how to do this. Because its me I wanted the best and I believe I have bought right, but this has me stumped as there is no choice that I can find to export a to Movie or any particular format. I would have though that Vegas would have been aware of Architest being in my system and automatically links up.

Maybe you can help please. I have attached the window in Vegas attachment that is confusing, sorry I have no idea where to look for the answer other than to contact your website.

Many thanks

Peter.

Hi Peter

"Exporting" in Vegas means something completely different to what Adobe users are familiar with.
You need to use Render As.
You will render an MPEG2 Video file only and then render an Audio file.
Next step is to Import only the Video file into DVD Architect - DVDA will automatically import the Audio file for you, provided you have followed the protocol outlined in my article.
This is the best way to make a DVD with Vegas Pro and DVD Architect Pro.

I have an article on my website which explains the full normal workflow for making a DVD that is going to be used by DVD Architect.
The article screen shots are from Movie Studio, however you will still be able to follow along with Vegas Pro.
Read this first How do I render a video in Vegas Movie Studio suitable for turning into a DVD using DVD Architect Studio ?

If you have any questions after you have digested my article, please post them in this same thread.

Regards
Derek.
