Why does my DVD videos appear with black bars, i exported videos in 1080 p and larger.

But the menu screen appears in full no black bars?

Video aspect ratio is 16:9 in dvd player and TV.
Same ratio with DVD export?
Using DVD architec 5

In DVD Architect, go to Options/Preferences/Preview
Set Aspect Ratio = 16:9

ℹ️ Remember to turn everything off at least once a week, including your brain, then sit somewhere quiet and just chill out.

Aspect ratio is okay 16:9. I finaly got around this by clicking on properties and set the correct aspect ratio there.

But now problem is that i now se very slim black bars on the side as shown in the attachment. I not sure if they might show up on a dvd?

The thin black bars are probably because you are using HD (1080?) material in a SD DVD project. SD widescreen is slightly wider than HD widescreen. You can crop the incoming video in DVDA7 but I'm not sure you can in DVDA5 which you are using.

I've just checked and DVDA Studio 5 doesn't have the "Crop and Adjust" option that DVDA7 does. So you are stuck with the thin bars unless someone knows how to remove them. I cannot find any options to stretch or crop. Yes they will appear in your finished DVD but many TVs will crop them out with the usual TV overscan.

As you are probably aware Magix have dropped DVDA Studio and now provide just one version, the "Pro" version currently 7 which comes with MS14 Platinum and Suite.

In Movie Studio, did you Match your Media Settings, so that the Project Properties were set to 1920 x 1080 ?
This is what I do when I am making DVDs - I never set Movie Studio to 720 x 576, if the source videos are HD format.

When I render HD videos to SD format (MPEG2 for Widescreen DVD), the video frame is always filled to the edges.
However, nothing is ever simple in the world of Video Editing.

There is something you could try, which should fix your problem.
In Movie Studio, there is a setting in the Render As window, under the Render Options drop down box.
Turn on Stretch Video to Fill Output Frame Size

I recommend installing DVDA7. It's an improvement and your existing DVDA projects should open in it without problems.
