Is Magix sunsetting Vegas Movie Studio? was created by Mr. Weather

Magix heavily promotes their Movie Edit Pro product on their website, and their Product Finder doesn't even list Vegas Movie Studio. Their website does link to vegascreativesoftware.com and shows Vegas Movie Studio there. Their website does not give a consistent impression of the products, but I get the feeling they're winding down Vegas Movie Studio in favor of Movie Edit Pro which looks largely different. I tried Movie Edit Pro but I don't want to learn something new, and I'm not paying $500 for Vegas Pro. So I'm confused.

Vegas Movie Studio is NOT being retired !
I can assure you it is not going to disappear at all.
It has it's own dedicated site at www.vegascreativesoftware.com
 Remember to turn everything off at least once a week, including your brain, then sit somewhere quiet and just chill out.
