I am using MSP 12 and one large set of Videos are conversion of VHS tapes of family to DVD.

Within reason now have the video side sorted (much help here) .... one thing that might be of use for a tutorial is the 'darker side' and by this I mean tweaking, tuning, improving & enhancing the audio track.

Platinum suite ... comes with Sound Forge 10

The general advice seems to be once you have finished editing the video, render as a .wav file and then open that within Soundforge and work on it there - but I can find scant help on how to approach this.
Plenty about suing acid loops etc., and game footage ..... but not about home video soundtracks.

How about a tutorial on Soundforge ... re-sampling, noise gate, normalising. noise reduction etc.
