Render using CPU only
to
Render using GPU if available

tried to load a project with no text with GPU acceleration of video processing: on
same thing happens project loading gets stuck at 39% :silly:

I will try and make a short summary of what is really going on here, because there are actually separate things going on which are causing some confusion.

1. The one thing we do know 100%, is that the newest Nvidia Drivers are causing a problem with Movie Studio Platinum 13. We will have to wait and see if Sony releases a new Build version of the program that addresses this problem.

2. The Sony Help Center article here www.custcenter.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5172 in the last paragraph, is only talking about GPU assisted rendering when using Sony AVC/MVC format. You need Nvidia Driver 337.88 or older for GPU to work with this format.

3. Driver 337.88 is not going to work for a GTX970, because this is a much newer graphics card with different architecture. You must use a newer driver that is compatible with 900 Series graphics cards. If you go to this webpage on the Nvidia website, you can find the exact drivers that are compatible with your model card.

Driver version 344.11 is the oldest driver compatible with a GTX970. You cannot use any other drivers that are older than this version.

Since I last spoke to you, I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10.
So far I have found that Windows 10 and latest Nvidia Drivers are working well with Movie Studio Platinum 13 and Vegas Pro 13.

It's good news that you can use the latest Drivers for your Nvidia GTX970 now.
