Idea Another way of using DVD Architect to create a DVD with chapter markers

Start with a mpeg file that has markers (created in Vegas and saved with the mpeg file)

1. Start DVD Architect
2. Open explorer
3. Drop mpeg file into playlist window (under Menu 1)
4. Right click mpeg file to get "insert scene selection menu"
5. Decide how many links you want on your menu - if you have say 12 chapters, you might set 6 links - DVDA will automatically set the number of menu pages in that case 2
6. Set DVD start on scene selection (page 1)
7. Delete Menu 1 on main screen but only the TEXT!! (right click) - deleting the menu block will result in losing all the links
8. Double click scene selection (page 1)
9. Choose Theme and double click this
10. Make changes to scene selection menu (rename scene selection menu eg. John Smiths movie) This is also the time to check Font sizes and make changes
11. Preview to see if it all works
12. On the playlist window click on each page and name the "next" and "previous" buttons

Burn project to disk.

The above is a fairly painless procedure to create a workable DVD with chapter markers. You can of course improve the presentation manually eg: different menu buttons, your own background etc.etc. The procedure works with DVD Architect 4.5 and 6.0
