A while ago I updated my build in MSP13 from a suggestion here on MSZ. I had to build a new PC and have reinstalled the program but still have the old build. Does anyone know how I can get the most recent build of MSP13?

This link of mine in this thread still works. (If you're asked to sign/log in, just ignore it and carry on to click the "Download" down arrow to Direct download)

It's the last Sony/SCS build 13.0.955 (64-bit), which is recommended. The later Magix builds are just rebrands and bug fixes of rebrands and available from the Magix Service Center or Download Center .

I forgot all about this. I downloaded the 987 build from Magix, but forgot all about the 955 build info that you had placed in this. I'm in the middle of editing a sizable project in the 987 build. Would it be advisable to finish that before I change over to the 955 build?

It's usually recommended not to upgrade your NLE software mid project. You might want to play it safe in your case as well or at least create another copy of your project to work on in the SCS build.

That's kind of what I thought. I can wait. I'll probably be done with my current project in a day or two. Thanks for all your help!!

BTW, you can't have both builds installed at the same time correct? Not that I wanted them both open at the same time or anything. It's just that I would like to build the proxy video of my latest recording in the SCS version and was wondering if I should wait for that.

Correct, you can't have two builds of the same version.

Just out of curiosity before I start this, will I be able to activate a SCS product? All I have is the serial number from the Magix 981 build.

Does your MSP 13 serial number read something like 1ST-****-****-****? That works with my SCS builds. I don't know if MAGIX changed the S/N in their rebranded builds. Check also what you have in your MAGIX Account under "My Products".

My Magix build MSP13 serial number also starts with 1ST so obviously they didn't change it until MSP14.
