Solved Audio volume in Movie Studio
Hello all
I am finding that once I have edited a project and balanced out the audio tracks with my Windows 10 speaker gain (I use headphones) set at 50%, after rendering the gain on the rendered video has dropped by some 55%. Is this to be expected or can the recording gain be increased when rendering?

What version of MS are you using? What is the max level shown in your MS Master Bus? It is usual to use this to get the audio output level correct.

I'm not sure why this new forum thread has been marked as Solved ?
If a solution has been found, please explain what fixed the problem.

Always set your Windows audio volume to 100% - I am talking about the Volume control that is accessed by pressing the little speaker icon in the lower left Windows Taskbar.
To adjust your speaker volume, you should use the volume knob on your external speakers.

Using MSP 15 & 16. Master bus set at app 80%. Windows taskbar volome at 50%. Apparently now learned that Windows taskbar gain should be set at 100%, then balance the audio in MSP.

To Dr Zen, Hi,
I don't use external speakers only headphones with no volume adjustment on them. It's the playback volume when playing/checking a rendered project in either "Films & TV" or VLC media player.
