Testing video editing programs for the last 8 years, has made me more pragmatic.
In the early years I became addicted to testing. I specifically remember spending many weeks trying to work out a problem with an early version of Vegas Movie Studio, that was driving me nuts. Then one day a new build version was released and the problem was no longer a problem. I've seen the same thing play out over and over again with each new program Sony released. So I have learnt to eagerly wait for that first new build release, that normally comes with a boat load of bug fixes.
If you love testing and have the time to do this, go for it :!:
