Is there anyway to make the sample text smaller when it is opened at media generators titles and text

You cannot change the default setting for size of default Text.
However, what you could do is edit the Titles & Text window to your liking and Save as a Custom Preset.
Then each time you want to add some text, drag your Preset to the timeline instead of the Default one.
ℹī¸ Remember to turn everything off at least once a week, including your brain, then sit somewhere quiet and just chill out.
