Idea MAGIX Vegas Pro subscription option

Posted 18 Jan 2018 11:03 This will be OK as long as they maintain both options of buying a standalone product for life vs the subscription model.
I am very confident Magix will do the right thing.

Cyberlink has been offering similar two options for a few years now and it seems to work well.
Adobe has generated massive profits, but terrible karma for themselves, by forcing everyone onto a subscription based model only.
I think all other software companies have decided not to copy Adobe and therefore generate some degree of good karma with their customers.
Adobe's philosophy "greed is good" - we all know how that story ends.
