If you do a Google search for any old Nvidia Driver, you will find the archived pages.

I have 2 drivers I suggest you try.

I am using 384.94 on Windows 10 and all versions of Vegas work with this.
I am also using an older Graphics Card than yourself - GTX570
www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/120907/en-us

If that does not work, try going way back in time to 381.89
www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/117920/en-us

Make sure to do a clean install when install the driver.
In one of the install windows, there is a selection for doing a full clean install of the driver.
ℹ️ Remember to turn everything off at least once a week, including your brain, then sit somewhere quiet and just chill out.

Hi Derek
Downloaded driver 384.94 as suggested, along with a clean install. This version didn't work. Then tried the older version 381.89. This came back as not compatible with my Windows 10. This is becoming frustrating. I appreciate all the effort and time you and the forum members have put into this thread. Will do a Google search for old Nvidia Drivers as you suggested.

Hi
Think I found the reason why driver 381.89 wasn't compatible. It was for Windows 7/8. Just done a Google search for archive drivers. Nvidia only went back as far as Dec 2017 with driver 388.71. Yes you've guest it, it didn't work. I am now at a loose end to know what to do now.

Have you tried 384.94 yet ?
This is the same Driver I am using and my Graphics Card is older than yours!

Hi vkmast

Thanks for getting back with a link to Nick Hope's thread on MV forum. I actioned the following:

On a laptop, open VEGAS Pro using Intel graphics as follows (this doesn't work on a desktop PC):

Open the NVIDIA control panel (e.g. by right-clicking on the desktop).
Open Manage 3D Settings and select the Program Settings tab.
Choose VEGAS Pro in the "Select a program to customize" menu or add it if it is not there.
Choose Integrated Graphics in the Preferred Graphics Processor drop-down menu, then Save.
If you still wish to use GPU acceleration of video processing in VEGAS Pro, choose Options > Preferences > Video and select your NVIDIA GPU for GPU acceleration of video processing.

I can happily confirm this did the trick. All working perfectly. I would like to thank you and Derek for persevering with this issue. I was getting to a stage when I thought it wouldn't get fixed. Can get back to doing what I love doing most. That is editing.

Kind Regards

Hi Notifier,

Was the "Choose Integrated Graphics in the Preferred Graphics Processor drop-down menu" in the Program tab?
I don't see that setting nor do I see a 'Save' either on the Control Panel 8.1.940.0

Thanks,
Dennis
