Often as not, when I search 'Help' within VP15, the entire application locks up, freezes. Is this 'normal' behavior? Some days 'Help' works OK, but mostly not. If I avoid search, it hasn't yet locked up.

This can be a problem on some people's computers.

There is a solution, which should stop the Help file from crashing.
You can create a Desktop Shortcut to the Vegas Help file that works outside of Vegas.

Open Windows File Explorer in Documents.
In the address bar, copy this address:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\Shared Plug-Ins\Help Files\

Then find vegas150.chm

Right-click and select Send to/Desktop (create shortcut)

Now use this to search for Help instead of doing it inside of Vegas.
ℹī¸ Remember to turn everything off at least once a week, including your brain, then sit somewhere quiet and just chill out.
