Solved Chroma Key. Remove shadow from background
Is there a way to remove the shadow from the background using chroma key?
The colors in the shirt and the background are similar. Chroma Key freaks out.

Are you trying to apply the Chroma Key plugin using the unusual background colour in your video, instead of the normal green or blue ?

I've tried blue and green. Color picker. Sliders, et al.

And yes, the background color is unusual... and unfortunate.

I'm going to be absolutely honest with you.
You cannot apply green screen effects to the video example you have shown.
The background colour is way too similar to your skin tones and clothing colour.
The background is also too dark - it needs proper lighting shining onto the surface.
You could remove the shadow by cloning the good part of your background and then adding a Mask over the shadow, however everything else is so bad, you are going to get leakage in the image.
My advice is to at least buy a basic green screen background.
There is a huge selection online from various stores.
To do green screen properly, you need to invest in a soft box light kit, which you can get for a couple of $100.

I had a feeling that was going to be your honest answer!
Each time I moved the sliders on the Chroma Key, no matter which color I tried, the shirt and the similar color background would be affected together.
P.S. The footage was supplied to me by a client; hoping for a miracle. If I had been in the room I would have screamed "Heellloooooooo, LIGHTS!"
Thanks again, Derek.

Here is an example of what I am seeing.
The sliders have to be pushed to crazy extremes and there is no way to fix this.
In my example, I have used a solid blue background as replacement, that shows all the problems.
Even if you could remove the shadow, it's still not going to work.
