Hi J0KEP0KE and welcome to the MSZ Forum

In your screen shot I can see that you have turned ON the Splitscreen button next to the preview quality settings.
This should be turned OFF.
Does turning it off remove green square ?

If that does not fix your problem, go to Options/Preferences/Video and set GPU Acceleration = OFF
You will have to restart Vegas for this setting to take effect.
Then open your project.

If none of the above fixes the problem, I recommend you try a full program reset.
