Hello, i got a problem with some mp4 files, recorded with my capture card. Vegas pro 13 and Studio do not "see" audio track of these files. I can play them with any players with sound, and few days ago i have used one files in Vegas. i did work properly, now however if i bring it to a timeline i alny see video track.
Please help.

p.s. now i noticed "media offline" text in the middle of the clip

Hi there

Are you using a Hauppauge HD PVR ?
It has three different formats you can record to.
Some of these formats do not work inside Vegas and only work in Playstation and/or Xbox.
.m2ts is the best option for editing in Vegas Pro.

I made a tutorial about this a long time ago.

No, i am useing Elgato HD60. All clips are beeing recorded with it, just few apper not to have sound track...

Someone has posted a solution video on YouTube that shows how to get Audio from Elgato working in Sony Vegas Pro and Movie Studio Platinum.
