Solved Marker text disappearing inside clips

Can anyone tell me why when I add a marker and associated text to a clip via the trimmer window, it just disappears over time? All these clips had markers and associated text at one time and now some of them over the course of saving and opening the project have disappeared. I even take the time to do an intermittent save after I get the information typed in the marker. I don't see a cause for it.

I'm running VP 18 on my rig
Ryzen 5 3600x / x570 motherboard / 32GB G Skill Ripjaws RAM / GTX 1060 6GB / Crucial P1 M.2 1TB OS drive/Samsung 960 EVO M.2 250GB with multiple SSD's and HDD's

I just did some tests and can confirm the same behaviour.
You need to turn on a setting in the Vegas preferences and then everything should stay in place.

Go to Options/Preferences/General
Turn on Automatically save trimmer markers and regions with media file

You may also want to Delete Markers in the future, that have been saved into a particular video.
There is a right-click menu hiding in the top Marker Region bar.

Derek
