Hey Derek, 

As the title to this question states, I'd like to know how to add Vegas Pro as an app to the background of my computer along with my other programs that I've installed.  I need to do this since I bought a new laptop and I need to reset Vegas Pro because I need to separate the trimmer from the preview window.  Please let me know when you're able.

Hi Keith

I assume what you mean, is that you want to add the VEGAS Pro program shortcut to your Windows Desktop background.

Find VEGAS Pro in your programs list first. I am using Windows 11, so these instructions are for that.
Press Windows Start button to bring up menu screen.
Select All programs and scroll to the V section to find VEGAS folder.
Right-click VEGAS Pro / More / Open File Location
Right-click VEGAS Pro / Show More Options
Send To / Desktop - program icon will now be on Desktop and you'll also be able to do a full program reset
