Have you been using this version of the program for 5 years and it has just started to not work properly ?

Try doing a full program reset.
This will clean the cache and restore ALL settings to default values.

Do this:
Turn Movie Studio/Vegas/DVD Architect Off.
Hold down CONTROL and SHIFT keys at the same time AND ALSO AT THE SAME TIME double click program icon on Desktop to Boot program.
Window will pop up.
Select Delete Cache and Yes.
This will restore program to Factory Default Settings.

Hi Derek

Thanks For the help on this one ..

Well now I sit with a other problem

I down load the Trail to star lean
how the new 13 work so when I upgrade
or buy the new one I know what to do.

When I open it like you show on you Video
every thing was fine

I change to Advance and every thing was there
and look at the intro video then I drag the Pre view
Window out of the box to make it bigger like I use to do
with 9 when I want to place it back in its normal place but it did not
want to fit back I click on the X to take it away and went to view to
restore it then I find out there is now place were I can restore
it like in 9 that I use to do. the same happen with my sound window.

I did tri to Restore the Factory Settings like you said but
when I switch to the advance window it still is not there and I cant
find were I can put it back.

Can you help me how to fix this pleas

Thanks for the help

You are really good with Vegas

Regards
Theuns

In Version 13, they have changed the controls for re-sizing and moving windows.
To place a window back into position, you need to hold your CTRL key down at the same time as you drag window.

Please watch my introductory tutorial for version 13 here:
