Question DVD Architect- disc burning

Having prepared two MP4 videos as a project in DVD Architect, when burning a Blu ray disc VLC media player suddenly opened.  I shut it down immediately and the burning continued.  When playing the finished Blu ray the opening of one of the videos froze for about 3 seconds than  carried on.  I burned a second disc and the same thing happened.  Any thoughts please.

If VLC media player is opening up, that will be caused by your preference settings in Windows 10.
This is controlled by going into Windows 10 Settings and selecting Apps.

I have no idea what would be causing a video freeze.
If you are using VLC media player to play Blu-ray discs, it probably means that VLC is having problems decoding/playing the video.
Play Blu-ray disc in a conventional DVD/Blu-ray player and see what happens.

Hi Derek,

The video freeze appears to be burnt into the Blu ray disc as I am playing back using a Panasonic dvd/blu ray player through my TV.  Tried it using another dvd player and another tv, same result.  Never happened before.  Wondered if it could be caused by VLC opening up whilst burning disc.  Have burnt many discs before, this is the first time this has happened.

I really don't know what else to say, other than re-do the entire project.
Re-render video with Vegas.
Re-burn video with DVDA.

Thanks Derek,

Only thing that I did different to any others is that the rendered videos were in MP4 format (rendered much quicker) as opposed to m2ts which I have always used previously.
