In this video tutorial I show how to vary the audio volume and/or stereo nature of your audio tracks continuously over time when using Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 10.

The tools to use are: Audio Volume Envelope and Pan Envelope.

By adding keyframes to an audio envelope you create a map for the volume level to rise and fall over time. This is very handy when you have multiple tracks overlayed on the timeline and need to have particular sections be heard over an underlying audio track.

    Cant find what am lookin for in these threads. How do i re- activate master volume. Volume is not going down when decreased. Must have deactivated by mistake.

    You saved my sanity! I was trying to edit a wedding and could not find how to manage my audio. I read 32 pages of info. and still could not get what I wanted. This video was so clear and is just what I needed. I actually slept last night! THANK YOU!! Donna
