In this tutorial I show how to render 960p Video from a Go Pro video camera using Sony Vegas Pro 11 or Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11.

I also go over the basics of all the other Video Sizes and Frame Rates that this camera can record at.

GoPro HD Hero2 shoots in four major modes and at different frame rates:

  • 1080p: 1920x1080 30fps
  • 960p: 1280x960 48fps or 30fps
  • 720p: 1280x720 60fps or 30fps
  • 480p: 848x480 120fps or 60fps

Setting up Vegas to render a 960p video can be done a couple of different ways due to 960p being a non-standard format.

Please watch my tutorial for a full explanation of how to render with Go Pro Video.
