Will any i core 7 laptop really improve video playback of 60 fps clips on my timeline?

The CPU is the most important hardware component for any video editing program.
More cores and more speed are very beneficial.

Core i7 is far superior for video editing, compared to i3 and i5.

Intel Core i7 is a generic group name for a wide range of different i7 CPU models.
Do you have a specific CPU model number you are considering ?

There are 100's of different i7 CPU models and 1000's of computer combinations.
If you are looking at buying a new computer, you can send some links and I will look at it and advise.

If you are going to build a computer, let me know.
