Hi everyone on this forum, I am zaack, joined this forum today. I would like to know the answer on this forum whether the YOUTUBE movies or any videos which do not hold Copywrite authority can be edited using movie studio zen software. If the yes then, can the amended Copywrite video be reloaded on youtube without Copywrite strike? Awaiting for a positive reply.

Hi Zaak

Yes you can edit videos downloaded from YouTube using Vegas Movie Studio or Vegas Pro, provided you download the .mp4 version from YouTube.

You should never download someone else's video from YouTube and re-upload it to your own channel.
If you are doing review/analysis videos, that contain parts of a movie (for example), that should be OK to do.
