Q: Can I make 3D Effects with Sony Vegas Movie Studio?

Answer: Vegas Movie Studio can only edit in 2D - x and y axis.

Only Vegas Pro allows you to edit in true 3D - x, y and z axis.

Please don't get 3D Movie Making confused with editing on the x, y and z axis. Both Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 and Vegas Pro 11 give you the ability to edit Video that has been shot with a 3D camera to create a 3D Movie.

If you buy Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 Production Suite - it comes with the New Blue Titler which gives you the ability to make 3D Text Graphics - that's it.

Press "Source Alpha" and then select "3D Source Alpha" to turn on 3D Editing
