In this video tutorial I show you how to Copy Media Files and Effects (Fx) from one Vegas project into a new one.

You can open more than one instance of Vegas at the same time, so this is a very easy and fast way to save time when you want to use the same part of a project in many similar projects.

This technique will save you heaps of time and works for both Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Paltinum 11 and Sony Vegas Pro 11.
