In this video tutorial I will show you a couple of different ways to add Sound Effects Fx to an audio file in Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 10.

Sound Effects can be applied a couple ways in Vegas Movie Studio.

One way is to apply the effect to an entire Audio Track using the Audio Fx plug-in icon in the track description box. Another way is to apply your Audio Effect to individual parts on the timeline. A third way involves editing your Audio Files in Sony Sound Forge Audio Studio. Only Production Suite users have this ability.

If you would like to edit your Audio Files in Sony Sound Forge Audio Studio, first you will have to set your Preferred Audio Editor in Vegas Preferences.

Here are the instructions:
Go to OPTIONS on the top toolbar.
Preferences - Audio Tab - Click BROWSE for Preferred Audio Editor
Search for C: Drive
Program Files (86) - Sony - Sound Forge Audio Studio 10 - Audio Studio 100.exe (RED ICON)
Click OK and your done.

It might be a good idea also to select OPEN COPY IN AUDIO EDITOR.
