New Vegas Movie Studio 16 Suite

$50 for an upgrade?!?!?!?!? There had better be some pretty spectacular changes. Or I'll pass.

Well certainly VMS 16 Platinum is adding more. The storyboard feature is interesting as it could change your workflow.

Hi Derek!
Looking forward to your review, however I have a question.....
Will 16 version HAVE X Y axis editing?
I have 11 and 14... and I was so happy I didn't delete my 11 version when I found out 14 DOES NOT HAVE X Y editing!!!!!
I will buy 16 just for the "X Y"... the offer I received was $49.99.

Can we get it any cheaper?

Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 14 does have the ability to edit on the X and Y axis !
What makes you think this function is not available in VMSP14 ?
Is there a specific tool or Video FX you are referring to ?

It sounds like you might be talking about the non-platinum version of Vegas Movie Studio 14.

I do not recommend the basic non-platinum version of Vegas Movie Studio - this version does have severe limitations.

Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 16 and Vegas Movie Studio Suite 16 are both excellent versions with full functionality.

I thought it didn't have the Workspace X Y, which I used a lot in P11. I see it now. Thanks.

It allows you to apply 2 videos on one screen or shrink one from full frame. In other words it gives you the ability to move the video or still to difference positions in the frame.
