Can't open .vf file. 46% and then it stops. was created by Sidek

After 2 months of creating a video I wanted to finally open it and render...

I have no idea what hapened, but now I can't open the .vf file. It's loading until 46% - then it stops with no error message. I have already tried to rename my videos' folder. But nothing changed. I have installed Real Player and VLC player recently but now I deleted them from the computer and nothing changed at all. What happened?

EDIT: I have even reinstalled Movie Studio. Nothing changed...

I am supposed to show my movie in 2 days :(

I have no idea what to do. Thank you for your help...

I had another person report the exact same thing recently.
The most likely cause is that you have removed something from your computer that your project/program was relying on. If you un-installed a Video Effect/Plugin/Program that is part of the project, the program is expecting it to be there.

When you work on big projects over a long period of time, you should always save regular progressive versions, so that if anything bad happens, you can open a slightly older version of the project that did work/open OK.

Example: yourproject-v101.vf, yourproject-v102.vf, yourproject-v103.vf,...........

Un-installing and re-installing Movie Studio is not going to help.
The first thing you should do is reset the program and delete the cache. This may get you project to load properly.

Do this:
Turn Movie Studio/Vegas/DVD Architect Off.
Hold down CONTROL and SHIFT keys at the same time AND ALSO AT THE SAME TIME double click program icon on Desktop to Boot program.
Window will pop up.
Select Delete Cache and Yes.
This will restore program to Factory Default Settings.

Please note that this function will only work by using a program shortcut icon on your Windows Desktop.
ℹī¸ Remember to turn everything off at least once a week, including your brain, then sit somewhere quiet and just chill out.
