In this video tutorial I show how to vary the audio volume and/or stereo nature of your audio tracks continuously over time when using Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 10.

The tools to use are: Audio Volume Envelope and Pan Envelope.

By adding keyframes to an audio envelope you create a map for the volume level to rise and fall over time. This is very handy when you have multiple tracks overlayed on the timeline and need to have particular sections be heard over an underlying audio track.
