I've never been so disorganized in all my life, during the last 3 months. Too much happened at the same time and I got myself into a giant pickle.
I am incredibly sorry that I let you down and wasn't able to provide that build guide video I promised, when it was promised.
This will never happen again.
Now I have an update for you!
Part 1: The first thing I have is an in-depth Computer Build Guide article for buying/building a Video Editing computer.

I had a major problem with the videos I already recorded for the build guide and have to re-record basically everything.
Some setting in the screen capture program I use called OBS, made the videos go weird.
This is my No. 1 priority right now, to get this video published, that is a companion to the written computer build guide.
If it doesn't get uploaded tomorrow on Good Friday, it should definitely be out the next day on Saturday.

I upgraded my Graphics Card this week to an Nvidia RTX 5060ti 16GB.
It has made a dramatic difference to Preview Playback and Rendering Video in Vegas Pro.
The new Vegas Pro 2026 that has just been released, has new support added for 5000 series "Blackwell" Nvidia graphics cards.
I highly recommend one of these Nvidia 5000 series GPUs - they have a new encoder/decoder, that give Vegas Pro a real boost!
