Hi there
I would like to know if anyone has been able to create the above, and how..??
I use a set theme for every 'scene selection' page of the menu.
The only things that change are the background .jpg and the text in the scene selection boxes. The physical location of all the text boxes is unchanged.
DVDA will automatically enter the relevant text of the marker into the text placeholder, but when a theme is applied the text is changed to that of the theme. Which if the text box is empty in the theme then the text box is empty after applying it.

So is it possible to have a theme that can be applied which doesn't update the content of the text boxes of the scene selection menu when applied, and does apply the change in the physical position, BUT also takes the relevant text automatically from the marker positions in the video file...????

Hope that is clear.. cheers CD

Is it possible for you to record a video screen capture showing and explaining exactly what you mean ?
I'm trying to wrap my head around what you are saying and not getting very far.

Record and video and upload it to YouTube.
Then share the link here and we can watch it here.

Theme creation in DVD Architect is only a basic function, so I don't think you will be able to do what you are describing.

Thanks for the reply, I thought that I was expecting too much, just trying to simplify a regular task, but I have been using DVD-A for many years and do understand that it is consumer software. Also I doubt that there would be any further enhancements once it was sold on. I was hoping in vein that someone my have already been able to accomplish what I was on about... Which..
In short, was to have a theme be able to place the text/buttons on a menu page automatically using the text of the marker points created earlier in DVD-A.

Auto entering the text from the markers to the buttons is already there by default, but once a theme is applied to that page, the text is replaced by that of the buttons in the theme. Even if the text of the buttons in the theme is left empty on purpose, they are left empty by applying the theme.
So I get one way or the other.
