Video editing problem - SDI to HDMI connections was created by stern

Hi,

Got application where we need to take camera signal feeds and send signal over single mode fiber about 2km with this sdi over fiber extenders. I am using AJA SDI to HDMI to get to my computer inputs. The problem is I can get it all to work with VEGAS Pro 14
Is it possible because of graphics cards ?
Please advise
Thanks

Hi Stern

I have moved your question into the Electronics & Equipment forum.
I'm not sure why you originally posted this in the Sound Forge forum, since you didn't mention Sound Forge in the message.

I think you have also done a typo in this sentence, because you are saying that it does work here.
The problem is I can get it all to work with VEGAS Pro 14

Your problem sounds like it is way above my knowledge level and I'm really not sure what you are actually trying to do ?
You can't record live video feed directly into Vegas Pro, if this is what you mean.

Please explain more simply what it is you are trying to do and what the precise problem is.

I suspect you may find more appropriate help on one of the Creative Cow Forums.
This is where industry professionals hang out.
It sounds like the Broadcast forum may be where you should be asking your question.
