As a current user of Movie Studio Platinum 13, is it worth upgrading to VEGAS Pro 14 Edit for $20?
What whizbang new features would be there?
And more importantly, do I lose any features?

You can have Vegas Pro and Movie Studio Platinum installed at the same time, in fact several versions of both. Only a new build/update of a version replaces your existing build of that version.
