Idea Free music for your projects...

It can be a frustrating experience to post a video to, say, youtube, only to have them strip the audio from it because someone claims the rights to a piece of music in the background. I had this happen last year when I posted a copy of a firework show I filmed at Disney World. The ironic thing is that the show was held on the forth of July & was in celebration of Independence Day. It was not Disney making the claim but apparently someone who owns one of the patriotic pieces of music played during the show <SMH>.

For what it is worth: I came across this site where a composer/musician posts various types of music pieces you can freely use for your private or commercial videos; just give him his due credit. The site appears new and does not as of yet have a very large selection, but he has been adding tracks and says that he is willing to edit his work to suit your needs:

You're right, the site is very new...it presently has about 230 pieces on it, but I try to add at least one new piece each day. Everything is free for commercial/non-commercial use as long as I'm credited as indicated on my homepage.

I'm also happy to create custom pieces for a donation.
