Forum Font in Google Chrome does not look like it does in your screen shot.
You may have old CSS code from the website saved in your browsers history, which would render the forum too light.
Clean your Google Chromes cache and then re-load the website.
Go here to clean the cache in Chrome:
chrome://settings/clearBrowserData

Google Chrome as a general rule does render all websites in a different way to what Firefox, Internet Explorer and Opera does.
So text can appear thinner/lighter only in Chrome.
I have been tweaking the design code for the website constantly since I re-designed the website a few months ago.
Originally Font Weight was set to 300 for all normal text, however because it was too light in Chrome, I changed it to 400 so it looks normal and can be read easily.
