Is it possible to take advantage of the upgrade to Sony Pro 14 from Vegas Movie Studio Platinum vs13. I can't get a response from Magix. Can I purchase the upgrade and go from Vegas Movie Studio Platinum vs13 to Sony Pro 14. The upgrade would keep me current with all the changes from here on. I am happy with vs13 and me keep it, or eventually look for something else as the Platinum version seems to be on the way out.

Yes Movie Studio users can upgrade to Vegas Pro at a discounted price.
Just enter your Movie Studio activation code next to the version of Vegas Pro you are interested in.

The upgrade price for Movie Studio users to get Vegas Pro 14, is extremely generous and much cheaper than what Sony ever offered.
There is no point in upgrading to Vegas Pro, if you don't need the higher functions.

Some of the main reasons why people upgrade to Vegas Pro are:
1. Better Colour Correction tools.
2. More pro level Rendering Output options.
3. Masking Tool
4. Full range of Compositing Modes (video blending modes)
5. More compatibility with 3rd party plugins
