Solved VMS14 - garbled/extreme audio distortion on render...

VMS14 - garbled/extreme audio distortion on render... was created by BlackSands

Whenever I render from VMS the audio in the rendered video file is just extreme distortion. Audio is of course fine when played back within VMS. I've tried all the different options in VMS audio preferences and tried different playback apps (VLC, WMP etc) but nothing makes any difference? Rebooted my PC etc.

I wondered if anyone had any clues about how to best proceed with resolving this? I've run out of ideas...

What render template are you using?

Note there is an audio bug in MS14. Refer here

Is this your problem perhaps. Were your templates you're using originally created in MS13 or earlier?

Ah ha! Yes... that's it! Was using a Sony AVC custom template. Thanks. :)
