Solved Activating free trial for Movie Studio

I have registered msp 12 trial version and received a code. Where in the programme do i paste the code for full activation?

Activation codes are entered when the program starts.
As soon as you boot up the program, a window will pop up asking for the activation code.
It should be impossible to proceed past this point, without inputting a code.

Why are you running the trial for version 12? This is an old version now.
Version 14 is the current program you should be downloading to use as a trial.

I have no idea how old Sony versions would respond now, if you try to run them as a trial.
Sony has nothing to do with Vegas software any longer.
Magix servers now control activations for all Sony Vegas and Magix Vegas software.

The pop up window during start up does not appear.

Bt anyway my software was registered before my laptop was stolen so now i was re registering with same disc but it prompted me to activate a trial. Now i was re registering for full version before a trial expires then i received a code of which i cant use.

I dont know what to do?

Is the more important problem you actually have, that you have lost your Activation Code for MSP12 ?

If your account is still active, you will find your serial numbers here.

It appears to be a lucky dip with Sony Creative Software.
Some people still have access to their old Sony account and some do not.
I am one of the people who's account is now blank at Sony, but fortunately I kept a spreadsheet that shows all Sony software and activation codes. Once/if you find your activation codes, you can login to your Magix account and enter all the Sony programs you own. Then you will never lose your codes again.

I managed to loggin so i guess i have to resubmit the serial number on the disk. Is that correct?

What do you mean by "login" ?
There is no login for Movie Studio.

If the program is open and running, it is registered.

As I said previously, the registration window opens before the program opens.
