Solved Removing static/hiss
Hi, is there a way to remove static/hiss from audio tracks that does not effect the overall sound?
I have tried using the resonant filter but it spoils the sound as well as taking the hiss away. Are there any other ways of doing this?
I have Platinum 13.
Many thanks

The basic Audio FX that come with Movie Studio Platinum, are not really suitable for repairing audio problems like you have described.
You may have better luck with the free tools in Audacity, as Richard has suggested.
However, there is a new program I have been testing and learning from Magix, which I think would be easier to learn and use.
The program I am taking about is MAGIX Audio & Music Lab Premium .
MAGIX has their Spring sale on right now and MAGIX Audio & Music Lab Premium is currently $60 off the normal price, which makes it only $39.99.
From what I have learnt so far, I think $40 is an absolute bargain and I recommend this program.
It comes with a really good Instruction Manual and Magix also has some great Video Tutorials to get you going.
You can download the free 30 day trial and test it first, to see if it is suitable for your needs.
There is a DeNoiser and DeHisser filter you can directly apply!

âšī¸ Remember to turn everything off at least once a week, including your brain, then sit somewhere quiet and just chill out.
