Go to My Products
Find Vegas Movie Studio 15 Platinum
Select Show more details
Press Deactivate next to each activation that has been recorded - remove all of them.
Now logout of Magix and re-boot your computer.
Sometimes there is a small delay of a few minutes, before the Magix servers process the deactivation fully.
Now try a activate Vegas.
Make sure to Copy and Paste your activation key, so you don't accidentally get I's and 1's or 0 zeros and O's mixed up.
