Trial versions of Vegas do have the render limitation.
The .vf project file does not contain any video or audio files - it only contains the structure of your project.
For someone else to render your project, they also need access to
all the source videos, audio files, etc...
You will need to upload all your files to a file sharing website, so that another person can download them.
You could use Google Drive to share your files.

If you were thinking about buying Vegas Movie Studio, I strongly advice that you get the
Platinum version.
For a small extra cost you get a large amount of extra functionality.
