I saw the post about getting Izotope RX to use the De-noise and De-hum features, but is there anything within VMS that would do the job? Not that it would do an outstanding job, but it would be nice if we could just use the features within VMS. Is it possible?

Short answer is no.

Izotope audio plugins are second to none, because they do exactly what they say.
