You only needed to have De-Interlacing turned on, if your source videos are
Interlaced -
not Progressive.
If you select a video in the
Explorer tab:
1. the output at bottom will say
Interlaced if it is Interlaced.
2. the output at bottom will say
Progressive if it is Progressive.
If you select a video in the
Project Media tab:
1. the output at bottom will say
Upper/Lower Field First if it is Interlaced.
2. the output at bottom will say
None if it is Progressive.
Right-clicking any video and selecting
Properties will also tell you what it is.
âšī¸ Remember to turn everything off at least once a week, including your brain, then sit somewhere quiet and just chill out.
