I don't know anything about using Movie Studio 18.
Movie Studio 18 is not a Vegas product - it is a Magix product.
Vegas Movie Studio has been cancelled.

The main problem with iPhone videos, is they are recorded with a Variable Frame Rate.
Video Editing programs work with Constant Frame Rate video.
When you import VFR iPhone video into Vegas Movie Studio, it can sometimes not play smoothly and be very jerky!
By converting VFR into Constant Frame Rate with Handbrake, it stabilizes the video.
In the next 6 hours, I will be uploading some new tutorials for Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 17.
I specifically show how to use Handbrake to do the conversion.
