Question Effects are not being applied to the whole video
Hi I have an already bounced down video and I am trying to apply effects on the entire single video track. I have tried putting the effects on at the time line and also up the top over the preview screen and in both cases when I render or 'make movie' the effects are patchy. The are not going over the entire video. Why is that?

Posted 03 Jun 2022 19:21 #2 Its like even when its in preview mode the effect flickers on and off and that is how it renders / makes movie with the effects flickering on and off and not being applied consistently to the entire track on the timeline. I uninstalled the 2022 version of movie studio in case it was causing a glitch but if anything, the problem seems worse.

Posted 06 Jun 2022 17:15 #4 To apply an effect to all events on a single track, add FX to Track FX button here:
If you have been mucking around applying fx to Preview Window and/or individual events on your timeline, make sure to remove the same effect and that it is only being applied the Video Track.
If you are experiencing flickering, that could mean your Graphics Card driver is not working properly with the particular effect you are using.
Make sure your Graphics Card Driver is up to date with latest build version.
If the videos in your project came from a Mobile Phone, that could also explain the flickering.
Most mobile phones record using a Variable Frame Rate, which will not work properly in VMSP17.
You need to convert any mobile phone video into Constant Frame Rate video, before you import into your Vegas project.
If you need to convert video, watch this video starting at 6:38 for instructions:
