Apologies for forum Moderator being absent for months

MSP taking ages to do simple renders was created by sargan

Had to create a simple short (14sec) 1080p video.   Set up in MSP 16
Started Render - and it took an incredible 4min 40 sec
I did it again - same result.

To check its not my PC .... did same video clip in Resolve - Rendered in 2 seconds  to produce exactly the same output
Why is MSP so slow.

Sorry for the very long delay in replying to your message. It was not intentional !
I have been unwell for the past few months - in and out of hospital numerous times.
I need to get some more neurosurgery, which is going to happen this week, to fix my problem.

I don't have much time for lengthy replies (today), until I get out of hospital.
To answer your question, I would need to know everything about your project.
Frame Rates, Render Profile used, etc...
I'm sure it would be something simply that is causing this problem.
