I'm attaching a frame of a short video clip that shows a hot air balloon floating by some houses. Is there a way to create a mask that allows only the blue sky & cloudy area to be seen? The idea behind it is have the final video composite show the the image on the bottom - the trees and houses, etc. - in real time, and then have a different video image appear in the blue sky/cloudy area.

You need Vegas Pro to create a true Mask.
In Movie Studio Platinum there is no Masking Tool, but you can use the Cookie Cutter tool to cut out basic shapes.
ℹī¸ Remember to turn everything off at least once a week, including your brain, then sit somewhere quiet and just chill out.
